It was a perfect September morning as the wedding festivities began at Crooked Willow. The sun had finally decided to show her beautiful face and everything about this day was shaping into perfection.
There was a tremor of excitement on the grounds as Aaron and all of his best guys tossed a football down near the groom’s suite while the hair and makeup artists showed off their talents in the bridal suite.
Anticipation was building as Blair slipped into her gorgeous wedding gown with a little help from her mother. Then the room fell silent as everyone left and Blair hid away for a reveal with her girls, then her mom, and then her dad.
The girls all teared up as they saw their dear friend ready to marry the love of her life. A group hug was the perfect way to cap off this sweet moment.
Blair’s mom held back the tears as she waited to turn and see her daughter fully ready for her wedding day. Joy and cheering erupted as she turned and they both held back tears as they embraced.
Then it was Dad’s turn. He was peaceful as he waited to see his little girl. The look on his face said it all and another sweet embrace was in order.
Aaron kept his eyes shut as Blair came out and got into place. When everyone was ready he couldn’t stop the huge smile from playing across his face. Blair was just steps behind him and in just a moment he would see her for the first time that day. His bride.
Blair was practically dancing she was so giddy from excitement and, as soon as she had the go ahead, she walked up and tapped him on the shoulder. Aaron turned to see her as all of the anticipation and build up from the day culminated into this beautiful moment.
After several warm embraces and lots of joy-filled faces they were able to take a deep breath and enjoy the fun of the next few hours. There was plenty of photos, laughter with friends and family, and the beauty of a long-awaited wedding day.
The temperature had cooled considerably as the afternoon wore on for this outdoor wedding at Crooked Willow. But as the ceremony music began to play, everyone forgot about the chill. Blair floated down the aisle on her father’s arm. He hugged Aaron as he passed his daughter off to him…a wonderfully symbolic moment.
Aaron and Blair shared their own vows with one another and they were so sweet and personal. Each of them teared up as they made a life-long commitment.
After the ceremony is always such a fun time as everyone can finally fully relax and enjoy the celebration. Blair and her father shared a dance full of twirls which was perfect, as Blair had one of the most perfect twirling dresses! Aaron and his mother danced together full of smiles and laughter. Then the bride and groom, now husband and wife shared their first dance together.
The rest of the night was full of family and friends whipping out their best moves along with a very special “Frozen” dance for the darling flower girl (who was happy to show off her moves).
There was so much love in the room as those who care most for Aaron and Blair all gathered together. The genuine smiles and joy could be felt as much as they could be seen. This was the start to a beautiful new chapter for Aaron and Blair.
Congratulations, Rentschlers. We are thrilled for you!
