Brophy Park Engagement | Jordan & Taylor

This Brophy Park engagement session didn’t actually start at Brophy Park at all, but in a little field of trees on the side of the road…because sometimes the best spots are on the side of the road!

In May, we hosted an engagement session giveaway and Jordan and Taylor were one of the winners! The moment Taylor answered the phone, we could tell we would connect with these two, and we were right (and who doesn’t love to be right!? 😉 ). We laughed so much as these two just jumped right in with all our fun, and sometimes weird, ideas. The result? Absolutely beautiful images of a couple who is deeply in love.

Keep an eye out for the hand-crafted ring Taylor is wearing. Jordan made it for her…actually he made 5 hoping at least one would fit on the night he proposed. It is a beautiful placeholder while they wait for Taylor’s other ring to arrive.

The night Jordan proposed it was well below freezing, actually it was well below 0 degrees. They were on a little getaway trip and had arrived at their very chilly cabin. Jordan suggested that Taylor hang up the twinkly lights they had brought while he started the wood stove and warmed up the cabin.

Taylor found herself engrossed in the cabin’s guest book. Page after page was filled with names and memories of those who had stayed there before. She found herself especially drawn to the sweet pages boasting couples that had gotten engaged while enjoying this rustic getaway. She called to Jordan, wanting to share the fun from the book with him.

Little did she know what would happen next.

The room was beginning to warm, the lights were twinkling, and the stories of love were swirling around Taylor’s head as she turned to find Jordan down on one knee. You can bet that the smiles on their faces were the brightest things in that room.

We like to say it, even if it’s obvious:

SHE SAID YES!

These two are so down to earth and comfortable together and you can see how they compliment one another. We deeply enjoyed our time getting to know them more and we are so excited to share some of our favorite images with you today!
