Lakeside Wedding | Jon & Annie

Lakeside was filled to the brim with joy at this wedding. Every guest wore it on their face, sung it out loud in love songs for Jon & Annie, and danced it into a frenzy on the dance floor. Pure joy and happiness for the brand new Mr. and Mrs.

Every single guest clearly had a deep connection to this wonderful couple. This was only magnified as Jon & Annie expressed their love and appreciation for every friend and family member that had joined them in celebrating the start of their marriage.

There wasn’t a table that didn’t stand and sing a love song to get this couple to kiss. And there was hardly a table that the bride and groom didn’t make kiss either 😉 The whole room felt like a huge family that you just want to be a part of and clearly, this was Jon & Annie’s family. Whether by blood or by love, this was family.

The morning started with Annie and her best girls laughing and getting ready at the family cabin. Annie was full of excitement and, in her signature style, she’d throw up her arms and bust out a dance move or a good shimmy in between hair and makeup prep. Once she was in her dress, Annie flung open the bedroom door and pranced out to loud cheers and hollers from the ladies! This was a group full of energy and love for this amazing bride.

Meanwhile, Jon’s getting ready arrangements were a little quieter, though no less joyful. He was so ready to see his bride.

On the side of the cabin with moms and friends peeking through the windows, Jon turned to see his bride for the first time that day. He couldn’t resist stepping toward her as she walked to him. They met in the middle with tears and embraced.

Today was their special day.

Jon & Annie took a few minutes at the cabin to soak in the day. The flower girls waltzed out in their beautiful dresses to see the bride and groom while dads and moms stepped out for hugs.

But the hours flew by and suddenly it was that time. THE time. The time you plan a whole day around. It was time for the wedding ceremony.

Jon escorted his mother to her seat while his father and brother accompanied him with music. Jon & Annie’s best friends walked down the aisle ready to stand by their side as they committed forever to one another. Cute little nieces and nephews made it all the way down the aisle with adorable smiles and excitement written on their faces.

And then, there she was. The bride. Riding on the arms of her father and mother.

Jon’s eyes were glued to her.

With hugs, her parents gave her away and she stepped up to the stage on Jon’s arm.

The ceremony was beautiful. Full of such personal details, beautiful stories (some funny ones too!) and deep commitment from one another. They spoke their vows back and forth, each sharing one line at a time and creating a beautiful poetry with their words. They slipped rings onto one another’s fingers and finally, with a kiss, they sealed this marriage for all of time.
