Kailey

This was one of those sessions (you photographers know what I mean), I couldn’t stop exclaiming over the light, the location, the beautiful girl! It was all just too perfect! I must have run over to show her the back of my camera a dozen times.
The day had started with dark, ominous clouds but by mid afternoon it was turning into the perfect kind of day for photos. We scouted out new locations, following the sun as it delivered a beautiful “golden hour”.

On top of the day basically being “made to order” I got to spend all this time with Kailey…and anytime you’re with Kailey you can be assured there will be laughter. This session was no exception. We spent as much time laughing uncontrollably as we did doing anything else and it was fantastic!
Kailey, you exude joy and life wherever you go. I love listening to you talk about nothing and everything, especially when the conversation takes a quick turn and dives deep. You genuinely love those around you and give so generously of yourself to others. You wear your heart on your sleeve which can be painful, but you can’t operate any other way and it makes you exactly who you are.
It is often said, “you are beautiful inside and out” and I would say those words to you, but I don’t say them flippantly. You are clearly beautiful on the outside, but what I find so irresistible is just how comfortable you are in your own skin. You know yourself and you’ve chosen to simply be exactly who you are. Your confidence and acceptance of yourself is refreshing and truly beautiful.
I feel so blessed to be a part of your life and I love you.
